Is it possible to attend the FLOFEST Qualifications and Finals?

A:

Of course! Passes to attend the Qualifications and Finals will be available online from at the beginning of 2021, in the “Tickets” tab.

Q:

Is there a limited number of passes available for the Qualifications?

A:

Since bracelets provide access throughout the weekend, there is no limit of passes. Throughout the day, spectators can enter and exit between each number.

Q:

Is it permissible to take photos and/or videos during Qualifications or Finals?

A:

It is strictly forbidden to film or take pictures during Qualifications and Finals. Each of the numbers presented will be photographed and filmed by our team of professionals. The sale will be available online.

Q:

Is it possible to buy additional FLOFEST trophies?

A:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy additional trophies.

When can I register?

A:

You can register for the 2021 FLOFEST Qualifications now!

Q:

What is the deadline for registration?

A:

There is no deadline. However, we advise you to register as soon as our events sell out quickly.

Q:

Are the Qualifications only for elite dancers?

A:

No, all dancers can participate, whatever their level! The Qualifications are divided into two levels namely Learner Level (3 years of experience and less) and Advanced Level (4 years of experience and more).

Q:

Are the Finals accessible to dancers registered in the Learner Level?

A:

The FLOFEST Finals are only accessible to dancers registered in the Advanced Level. The FLOFEST Finals include soloists, duos and trios as well as groups.

Q:

Can I participate as a duo in the Qualifications?

A:

Of course! Solos, duos & trios and groups (Small Group, Large Group and Production) can now participate in the FLOFEST Qualifications!

Q:

I'm having problems with my online registration account what should I do?

A:

If you are having trouble with your online registration account, please email us at [email protected]. It will be our pleasure to assist you.

Q:

What methods of payment are accepted to finalize registrations?

A:

Please note that we accept payment by check or Interac transfer. Payment information will be sent to you with your official invoice.

Q:

Can I make changes to my account once my subscriptions are submitted?

A:

You will be able to make your changes directly in your online account by clicking on “Change my routines”.

Q:

Is it possible to get a refund if a dancer leaves a crew or if we have to cancel a routine?

A:

Once the payment has been sent, registrations are final and there is no refund for registration fees.

Q:

When will the schedule be available?

A:

Schedules are available one month before the festival, at the latest.

Q:

When should I send the music? How to proceed?

A:

The music must be sent one week before the event. To do this, you must go to your online account under the Music tab. You will then be able to upload your files.

Q:

What are the stage dimensions?

A:

The stage measures a minimum of 44 feet wide x 30 feet deep.

Do I have to participate in the FLOFEST Training Space in order to access the FLOFEST Qualifications?

A:

Yes! The pass giving access to all activities in the FLOFEST Training Space will be automatically added to the registration of all dancers participating in the Qualifications for as little as $69 + tx.

Q:

Will there be classes reserved for the youngest?

A:

Yes! A class specially adapted for Juniors will be offered in addition to the Learners and Advanced classes.

Q:

Can I participate in the FLOFEST Training Space even if I am not registered for the Competition?

A:

Yes! Passes to participate in the FLOFEST Training Space will be on sale on our website at the beginning of 2021.

How can I get Qualifications results?

A:

The link to access the results file will be sent before the start of the qualifications. Results will be uploaded directly throughout the Qualifications

Q:

Is it possible to have the ranking of all the routines in a category?

A:

We only announce the top 3 at the awards ceremony. The specific classification of a routine will be forwarded to the studio owner/director in addition to the details of the judges’ evaluation.

Q:

In the list of deductions, what do you mean by inappropriate, obscene or offensive language?

A:

Inappropriate, obscene or offensive language refers to any blasphemous, derogatory, denigrating vocabulary and/or targeting a specific person or group of people.
